Maybe, it's just like that in the beginning, but I have just passed the part where you go through the first gate. I've already leveled up to the next Crystarium, and then they introduce "Monster Crystals" into the battle system, with Cait Sith healing, it seems rather easy.
idk, things just seem really easy so far battle wise.

There's a few parts you might have trouble with, but this game is definitely easier than the first game.

The game is designed in such a way that you can either go through it very easily by hanging around and leveling up some/get good monsters or you can give yourself a challenge and try and advance the storyline quickly which can be very difficult if you don't take any detours.
There are some monsters out there that can kill you in seconds if you decide to take them on:-)

Wow, I see a TON of topics mentioning the SAME exact thing, I must be mentally challenged because the search didn't bring anything up.
There is one other topic that MIGHT have the info I was looking for, the third from last, and honestly, you can't tell the context. It might be asking what the difference between easy and hard is, or it might faceciously be saying easy and hard are the same. Other than that, no other topics but mine on it. In fact, there is one topic saying Easy mode is too hard, so I don't know what the hell you are talking about.
Maybe you are either delusional or developmentally challenged yourself, because there are no topics talking about what you are saying, at least not under the most obvious search term.

I found my first playthrough easiest, the one where I didn't quite understand the crystarium and levelled up commando and rav to 99 first. The 3rd playthrough is pretty good so far :p. I think I have it down now...

Other than some portions of the last area and maybe 1-2 bosses I ran into before I was supposed to, this game was an absolute cakewalk.
Didn't help you can easily max bio monsters and most of Noel/Sarah's Crystarium the second you hit Archylte Steppe....

only think that's likely gonna bring you down if you take your time going through the game is yomi and he's gonna stomp all over you the first time (and probably the next ten or so too)
