I can't remember ever getting entrenched in a game like I did with FFX. Words can't even describe how good this game is. Love it.

Few games demand attention as much as a Final Fantasy game does. Many PlayStation 2 owners have been waiting for this game with baited breath. Does the game live up to what they've been hoping for? Greg Kasavin will answer that question and more in this video review.

i like the review style, as a change, it's not teleprompted, very conversational.
I'll admit that it was really hard for me to get into this FF when compared to ones I had played previously. I stopped playing and picked it up a few years later to see if I would enjoy it more and I fucking loved it.
One of the undying masterpiece of square enix.... Good thing there's a remastered version for Ps3 coming soon Hell YEaH!
1 Like FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10. These are the games I think of when I hear the words "Final Fantasy." The true games that made the genre. What Square came out with after X has been sub-par at best, I hope, for their sake and mine, that they can make another game like this one.
I think this is my favorite Final Fantasy game, and its hard to say because I love nine as well, but I am also really disappointed that in the ten years since this games release Final Fantasy has all but died. It is a shell of its former self Square became to focused on making the game different and trying new things and failed in varying levels. I never played eleven but X-2 and XII were garbage. XIII was closer but way to linear. I hope there is another great one one day.

This game was amazing. Grpahics and Music was epic. However the main charctor was one of the most annoyingest thing ever created to gaming history. Remove him and make someone else the protanginst and this game would be perfect.

This game is a classic! Definitely one of my favorite games of all time I would play Blitz Ball for hours and hours. I wish they would make more Final Fantasy Games like this.
@Lord_Sesshy If by puzzles you mean pushing blocks around and putting balls in holes for two hours
@Sgthombre Well when you put all those things together in a 10 minute review yeah but when you play the game everything is spaces out so like the puzzles are a nice break from random encounters. Plus it makes you think just a little bit which I can understand might be a little hard for some people. (like the guy in the review) Personally it's my favorite FF game but I guess thats my opinion

FFX still a fantastic game, but I feel like audio dialogue and flashy fmv's are ruining rpg games nowadays.
This game brings back so many memories.. the unbelievable quality of the music, gameplay, storyline, and side-quests just comes together in an unforgettable experience. A must-play for all RPG lovers, and even people those who haven't played RPGs before. It was like one of those perfect events where the right people came together at the right time to create this masterpiece. In my top 5 for sure.
this game has one of the best stories i've ever played. i was so into each character and how they developed throughout the game. ANYBODY who is considering picking up their first rpg, this is a great start!
I never thought this game could make me "!.......CRY......**!" There are certain parts of the game that certainly "MOVES ME*^*" and can't help my self to "shead tears unconsciously......!" !.....Very Very Emotional & Deeply Moving.....!
they shuld make game play like ffx and ff7 and 8 why they keep making so lame game play and transformers summons..cant even control them like we use to on ff8-fx
Oh and he said people complain about the fighting scenes being time consuming, you can hit an option that after you see the summons and such the first time you skip it after that.
I hate when this guy does reviews, he doesnt seem to care. He is monotone and I hate it, he reviewed the original Halo and made me not want to play it because he made it seem boring.
This game is by far not the best game in the series...to say the WORST though is going too far, I mean FF13 came out. Yes the combat is great, the music is great, and the graphics for its time are damn well amazing...but that's about it. The FF series however is about the stories, and ever since FF7, they've been spiraling in a downwards fashion. It's hard to follow a story that's main protagonist is a femmy idiot who whines more than Anakin Skywalker. The voice acting is not that great, and Blitzball is insanely stupid, though not as stupid as the character that kills things WITH a blitzball. Btw, I love how the guy reviewing this gives barely any input on the story itself, speaks as if he's only talking to fans of the series with barely any input on the mainstream players, and seems as unenthusiastic as possible. I'D BE MORE WILLING TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IF YOU ACTUALLY SOUNDED LIKE YOU GAVE A DAMN! It sounds like he just got back from a funeral...or he just got done playing an overrated JRPG...oh right. Also, to say that the reason someone watched the review for a game is because they liked the game is like saying somebody watched Twilight because it was a good movie...it's just not true.
The Musical score made this the first game i felt emotionally attached too, definitely goes in my top ten of all time.
my first ps2 game. I devoted a lot of time to it and at first i was never interested into when i got a ps2 with ffx for my b-day, but i gave it a chance and loved it.
