Final Fantasy X...one of the greatest PS2 RPGs of all time...

User Rating: 10 | Final Fantasy X (Mega Hits!) PS2
In my opinion, Final Fantasy X is one of the best games the PS2 has had. Not only does this game have a lengthy story, it also has great graphics and voice acting plus a really good soundtrack. The story is quite interesting and it will take you about 50 to 70 hours to finish it depending on how much time you spend doing side missions and levelling up. The game features Conditional Turn-Based Battle witch is different from what we're used to but works really well and allows you to carefully think about your every move without being under the pressure of the enemies constant attacks as you may be used to in other Final Fantasy games. The levelling up is also quite different from other Final Fantasies. Usually you would gain EXP and when you reach a certain number of EXP you would level up. Of course that happens here too but when you gain a level you don't keep it. The levels you gain are used on the Sphere Grid. This is like a game board with circles and each circle either has an ability to learn ore an empty space. Also travelling back to already visited circles costs less. The graphics are as expected a lot better than in previous Final Fantasies since this is a game on the PS2. Also there is quite a large amount of voiced dialogue witch surprised me a little since I was used to reading the dialogue from the previous games. And finally the Aeons that are the summons of Final Fantasy X. There is quite a few of them and you'll have to work hard to obtain some of them but it's worth it. The Aeons work differently from the summons we're used to. Once summoned into battle the Aeon acts like a party member. This means that the Aeon Stays in battle until Dismissed or Defeated and is controlled like any other party member.

In the end, Final Fantasy X is not just fun to play, but also lengthy and looks beautiful. I give it a perfect 10.0 and recommend it to anyone who has a PS2, especially if you're a fan of the series or RPGs in general.
