My first Final Fantasy game and I was surprised at how good it was.
Gamplay-Most of this game is spent roaming around on foot with a boy named Titus. He was thrown into a world of chaos when he is transported a thousand years into the future. He becomes a gaurd of Yuna, who is a summoner trying to destroy Sin, a terrible creature that terrorizes the world. That is just a summary of a complex story. As I said you spend a good amount of time running around on foot, progressing through areas, and fighting enemies. The fights are turn based with commands. This may seem really stupid but it is actually really cool. You gain experience with fights and can upgrade your characters. The game is a long one: lasting about 25 hours. But that is all you can do in this game.
Graphics-This game has the best movie graphics on any game on the PS2 i've ever scene. Even in 2006 they're amazing. The game graphics are nice too but a liitle pixely. For a really old game, they are awesome though.
Sound-The music is memorable, and the voice acting is well done. Some good sound affects are present too with good sword sounds and other things like that.
Value-This game has an extremely long campaign but that's about it. You can play blitzball which is fun, but it ties in with the main campaign.
FFX is a different game that is really good. I'm glad I got this game and it is a classic.
