While it lacks the magic the Final Fantasy X, it still has its strong points.

Yuna and Rikku is back... as you probably noticed. They have both changed their clothes and personalities, which in this case, is very sad. Let's leave those too though, because Final Fantasy X-2 has more fun and interesting parts to offer! The biggest plus of this game must be a redone ATB. Battles are now more dynamic than ever and demand quick reflexes and are more fun! Our three heroines, Yuna, Rikku and Paine can kick enemies butts in a fast and finesse way since they can now change their classes by changing their Dresspheres. You can now choose between Thief, Warrior, Black Mage and many others. Final Fantasy X-2's story isn't half as good or absorbing as X's, unsurprisingly. It is shown in an interesting way though. The story is divided for five chapters where you can see different story parts in every locations and gather different items in treasure chests. Playing through the story gives you percents to your overall game completion. Different percent result gives you different endings for your game! If you can't gather whole 100% through your first time - no worries! FFX-2 offers New Game+ where you can play with your heroines one more time with the equipment and dresspheres you have gathered during your first play.

Music is good, but not perfect. Lack of Nobuo Uematsu isn't as bad as everyone thought, though. The jazzy and pop-like tracks give FFX-2 fresh feeling and are actually very nice to listen, most of the time.

To sum everything up, I actually recommend Final Fantasy X-2 to everyone. It's fun, it had billions of silly mini-games you may like and it has very un-Final Fantasy feeling to it. Who knows, maybe that's the thing you will like?
