What Gamespot Users have to say about Final Fantasy X-2

It breaks a few FF rules, but still deserves to bear the name.

After seeing the ending of this game's predecessor, Final Fantasy X, I was deeply moved, touched, and puzzled as to how mere video game characters could evoke such emotions from real people. It was such a powerful end... Read Full Review

The game was cool but it wasn't as good as FFX was.

Final Fantasy X -2 was really kinda...... boring & hard at the same time. Some of the missions we're hard to do, plus it sucked that you had to do exactly everything and not miss any of the secret missions to get the hol... Read Full Review

Ultimately, it fails to live up to the high standard FF X set for itself.

Ultimately, it failed to live up to the high standard FF X set for itself. It seemed like a wonderful idea, and a revoluntionary one at that. Before this game, all final fantasy games are never related to each other. ... Read Full Review

    Interesting.

Okay, let me just put this right out there: this is not the best game in the series and, in fact, the series would have been better off if they had never made this, but it is good in it's own right as a game. Or at leas... Read Full Review

They took FF X locations and monsters and just put the three girls together to say silly things and dance.

This was horrible! Anything I felt for the Yuna in the FF X was lost in this one. What a waste of time. The reason I give it a 5.5 is that as a Fan Serv..I can see someone liking this...but as for me, it was dull and e... Read Full Review

    Not your father's Final Fantasy

A lot of things have been said about Final Fantasy X-2. Most notably the overall tone of the game, which reminds most of us as a video game Charlie’s Angels. Just about every Fantasy fan will agree that the story is th... Read Full Review

    Great, but it's not FFX

X-2 is certainly a departure from the serious nature of your typical Final Fantasy game, and a welcome one at that. Battles have been changed to make them as fast-paced as possible - the polar opposite of the strategic c... Read Full Review

A very rushed and lacking in depth sequel, but...

This game was the most rushed game that Square-Enix could've done so as to make a load of money without too much effort. Nevertheless, there are a few aspects of FFX-2 that are worth pointing out, whereas there are ma... Read Full Review
