Most anticipated game of all time. I can see why.

The campaign sees you travel all over the world from the suburban slums of Brazil to the icy mountains of Kazakhstan. The aim is to take down a fearless terrorist by the name of Makarov. But you get caught up in a massive superpower war between Russia and America in the mean time. Infinity Ward provide you with four different characters to play with: "Soap" MacTavish, Captain John Price, James Ramirez and Joseph Allen. The plot takes many twists that you just don't see coming.
The spec ops is the equivalent of Call of Duty: World at War's "Nazi Zombies". It doesn't quite equal it but I don't think anyone expected it to. The aim is to gain all 69 stars by making your way through Nazi Zombie-influenced wave games, Elimination and Slow-mo Breach. You will earn 1 star for completing the level on the easiest difficulty, regular; 2 stars for completing it on the intermediate difficulty, Hardened; and 3 stars for completing it on the hardest difficulty, Veteran. These missions are demanding but with the capability of teaming with a partner, are fun to work out different tactics with your friends.
The multiplayer section of this game is typical of the Call of Duty franchise: stunning. It continues with the usual games modes of Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, Domination etc. but now adds customizable perks, new weapons and new kill streak rewards such as the predator missile; a user-controlled, heat-seeking, explosive bundle of fun. Another great new addition is the in-game host migration that attempts to replace the host if he/she leaves partway through a game.
Overall, this game is great value for money as it will keep you entertained forever. Its easily the best first person shooter on the market.
