Ten years after being released, it's still a masterpiece!
The Final Fantasy franchise were good game. But when they put this seventh on the market, the game had great reviews and the game worth the reviews. This game is still a masterpiece after ten years.
The new gameplay as revolutionary compared to the first Final Fantasy ans other RPG classics. And also new graphics (1997) that weren't in any other RPG too. This game is still good after ten years for this principal reason: THE STORY!
I think it is the best game story I've ever played and the characters are really nice, because they have the kind of special thing that any other game caracters doesn't have. In the story, you are Cloud, an ex-soldier that try to resist to the politic by destroying there reactors that destroys there city. He's help by his friends: Tifa, Barret, Cid, Vincent Valentine and many others. When you begin to play, you already start to play after a short cutscene. Your first objective is to destroy the Mako Reactor 5. The game is long, maybe 40 to 100 hours depending how are you capacities.
Like I said there's new controls, the environments and characters are now in 3D. There's a lot of new magics, summons monsters and many other cool stuffs.
Because the graphics were made in 1997, my opinion is that there amazing but it's hard to play when there's things that I cannot well see. And for the soundtrack and sounds, there good. I didn't finish the game so I do not know if there's the ''One winged Angel, orchestral music'' but this soundtrack is one of the best. For the game music and sounds effects, there nice and well done.
For those who really like the collection games and old classics RPG, I think this game is for you. I know that the game is kinda hard to get, but if you really want this game, try to get it (even at 50. Personally I've get it at 35 $ the original version).
