The game was one the best games ever and one that got me playing other final fantasy games. But I’m glad they didn’t make a proper squeal because I feel it would have put shame to the original. But on the other hand this film is no master piece ..far from it and after watching it you can’t help but feel that it could have been a lot bigger and better. One of the most disappointing things of this film is the very basic, not very fantastic, been there done that type of fight scenes. They are too basic looking and there is nothing that we all haven’t seen before (with the exception of the last fight which is truly amazing). But on the other hand the CGI is fantastic and very realistic. But none of the characters don’t seem to express themselves and you don’t get to know them or what they have been up to since the game and you don’t get to feel for any of the characters because they don’t seem to stand out or have their own identify within the film, except cloud who seems to be the character which the whole world evolves around. Anyway watch this film if you love final fantasy because it is far more enjoyable but if you don’t you will think this is one of the worst films ever.
