One of the best in the series, but THE best?
It’s a big leap back when you compare the graphics of VII and VIII with VI. But when I finally got used to them, I enjoyed every bit of this game! The gameplay is exactly the same as the two other Final Fantasy games I mentioned, so that felt really familiar. Like I said before, the graphics aren’t all that, but for SNES standards they are really good. The music has the same level of quality as most RPG’s I’ve played on the SNES, so that doesn’t need any more explanation.
The fact that it had outdated graphics didn’t affect me enough to leave it. THANK GOD, cause it’s also one of the best RPG’s I’ve played and I completely understand why it’s being considered the best in the Final Fantasy series by many!
