As much as i want them to take there time to make a great game which final fantasy never seem to dissapoint, please hurry up we have been waiting forever. And so you can start working on the long anticipated kingdom hearts 3 HOPEFULLY FOR PS3

Oh come on, Square Enix... we've been waiting forever! I've been stoked all this time just at the idea that there will finally be a Final Fantasy game with blood. X-2's scene with the death of Shuyin and Lenne? Yeah, I was just laughing the whole damn time, it looked so stupid. I've been waiting for the blood for so long... TT^TT

I have waited a long time for more information on this game!! Finally I'm going to hear something soon! Can't wait!

Everything after FF7 just was'nt the same...I miss the armor sets and relics that disappeared after FF6, too. Now all you get is a weapon and armband. Lame. Oh, and the cartoon voices need to go. How about a FF game that's geared towards its audience that has aged over 10 years since the series inception? The series continues to gain new fans while losing old ones...

i just hope this game is nothing like final fantasy 13,as a huge final fantasy fan XIII was so disappointing.

UnitedGamerz is right. That website has everything up to date, especially leaked videos. I have been waiting for this game to be out since last year lol. But we all have to wait. I don;t like final fantasy 13 too much but versus 13 will open the doors for future square enix games. Can't wait for january (for hopefully game play and story)

@tukimi86 i know what you sayin bro, i mean for real.....i didnt even have a PS when i 1st seen da trailer and i have went through 2 ps3 since then......and this an MGS4 was the only reason i got one, by the time this game come out want even have to play games anymore

Since Nomura is actually the director for Versus, and not just the character designer like for XIII, I am hoping for an epic game. By the way, where the hell is this trailer mentioned in the article?

I pre-ordered this game September 14 2009 with Amazon.com over a year ago now and it looks like it will be at least a year or two away... I can't wait

i don't care how long it takes as long as it is epic and very long game with amazing graphic's super cool story and very likable characters i don't want them to rush this i just want a awesome game when ever it is released

I'm going to leak some little info base on what I got told by a friend living in japan who happends to be close to one of the designer working on this game..the game is like fallout 3 open world game with a final fantasy theme and story to it the game is been target for release in early 2012...

I don't care if it takes time, this means it should be good!

wasn't this game like less than 10% on developement few years back when they started along with FFXIII development? I remember reading an article about it. I also remember FF versus XIII development team went to help the FFXIII team finishing their FFXIII game, so does it mean we have to wait 2 or more years for this game to come out? I think so, considering it took a while to finish FFXIII with missing scenarios and other areas that SE had to cut out for its release schedule.

It better be one of the best JRPG ever made because all I been hearing is talk and no action yet. Then again this is Nomura who worked on previous FF games and also made the great Kingdom hearts so I'm sure he won't disappoint his fans.

@warner11 ....Lol. exactly what Soldjango said to you. And if I recall correctly, Pulse was the world BEFORE Cocoon was ever even created. Most of the people who lived on Pulse migrated to Cocoon. I don't recall a war being mentioned. I have to play through the game again. >

@DarkBuhamut, no, i did not play naughty bear, Dante's inferno or white knight chronicles. why not? cause I knew they were going to suck. FF13, i expected much from, way to much apparently. Don't get me on the boring battle system (X,X,X,X, L1(switch to heal) X,X,X,X,L1(switch to dps), X,X,X,X), the dumb, boring, convoluted story, annoying character, i wanted to kill Hope myself, slowwwly. . in other words, FF13 was suppose to be the biggest, best RPG to hit this generation, we wanted thunder and we got a whimper. That's why FF13 should be worst game of the year. *end rant*

They are doing exactly the same thing they did with FFXIII. They are hiding the game because they don't want people too see how the game is now to then when they really start with the multiplatform development they don't want the fans nitpicking the game because of the changes they made to make both versions of the game equal for both consoles.
