It's better than the first Tactics Advanced, but I'm still waiting on a true successor to FFT! This still isn't it.

All biases aside about the original FFT, this title was far more likable than the first FFTA. I think Luso's appearance in the FFT remake and the prior release of FFXII, really helped this game a lot. I say this because it made me more familiar with the main character here and it allowed SquareEnix to integrate a bunch of cool features from FFXII into this game since they're all suppose to be in the same world anyway. It also seem to take after FFXII with the amount of bonus content that it offers. SE also got rid of that annoying Law System from the first FFTA...WOO HOO!!! I also like how this game attempted to pull "a Cloud" on us...but it just wasn't as exciting as it was in the original. I have to admit though, this game was highly addicting and fun to play. It was really hard for me to put down. The story screamed "The Never Ending Story" the whole time I was playing (those old enough, will understand what I'm saying).

My Breakdown:

What's Good:

- Great graphics
- New upgrades to original battle system
- New job classes (The chocobo knight is really cool)
- Plenty of bonus content and stories
- Better Character development than the last
- The Auction House is neat little addition
- No more of the annoying Law System!!!

What's Not-So-Good:

- Monsters can no longer be captured (since the Morpher class is gone)
- The story doesn't seem original due to what I mentioned above

What's Bad:

- Still no real mediator class!!!

In all, this game is the closest thing to live up to the standards of the original FFT (obviously besides the remake). If it gave us the mediator job class then I would say that does live up to the standards gameplay wise but still falls short on the story...
