Does Mystic Quest have an interesting story?

I am interested in downloading this game from the wii shop, and I'm aware that it is a very easy game. I wanted to know if the game at least has a decent storyline from the usual save the world sort of plot.

Nope, that's what the plot is. You are the chosen one and you must defeat evil to save the world.

Thanks for the response. I wiki'd it up and the plot seems decent enough. I like short and easy games.

I loved the plot. It is your basic plot variety, but it suited me. While the game might be easy, you might find yourself in a tough spot during some of the boss battles and during the times where you are fighting by yourself. I may have been underleveled though.

Like FF Legend III, you have the option of repeating the battle if you lose, so at least you have that.

I may look into this game after all then. But I'm going to complete FFVI first as it is my first time playing through it.

How much is it in the Wii shop? It's probably 'worth the price' if it's under US$10.

The game is fun. Simple and short, but fun. The characters are amusing, though not very deep. The game is short enough that you can try speed-running it in a few hours. You can avoid lots of battles because there are no random encounters, just enemy groups blocking certain pathways.
