This is all based on the FF2 cartridge version on this game for the SNES..

    1. Question 1.
In the sylvan cave you fight monsters called -ghosts-. How many different attacks do they do. Name them all, AND in the order they do them. (must answer all 3 parts to be correct)

2 attacks, Fire 2 and a regular physical attack, in that order ... I think.

Sorry my friend, but that is incorrect.

    Very close, however.

Rats ... I knew about Sleep, but isn't it a counter attack? So technically, they may never actually use it.

Sleep tends to not work against you for various different reasons... at least in this version.
  • Oct 16, 2011 12:04 pm GMT
Im pretty sure Sleep was just a standard attack and not a counter. Could be wrong though.

    Question 2.
Which spells cause the behemoth to counter with a VERY powerful attack. Name all the spells, and the behemoths powerful attack.

Umm... i'm no expert but let me try..

White, flare, meteo, and bahamut? Behemoth counters with meteo.

I'm not sure if you got all the spells right, but I know for sure the counter-attack is Storm (a hit all version of Weak)

Meteo and White cause the behemoth to attack with Storm.

    Question 3.
This monster uses Entangle, Blitz, and physical attack. Name the monster, and all of the monsters that share the same form.

King-Ryu(Gold Dragon) uses those attacks, and Ging-Ryu(Silver Dragon), Clapper(Thunder Dragon), and Shadow(Golbez's summon when you face him in the underworld) share the form.

...Good thing I'm replaying this on the Wii and just ran into the Clapper last night.

Is Clapper in the SNES version?

I know on the GBA release there is an additional one - Magic Dragon (pain in the ass casts Maelstrom constantly).
  • Dec 21, 2011 4:51 am GMT
Ya, Clapper is only found in the Land of Summoned Monsters cave.

    ^

    Sylph.

Only way you can have Sylph when you fight Evil Wall is with the Dwarf Castle Warp trick: Warp back into the Crystal room immediately after fighting Golbez, yoink the Crystal, then lose it and Kain as soon as you get to the Sealed Cave.
