Hunting cave critters in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
Yeah in some areas the encounter rate gets out of hand... example: in the tower of babil near the end of Edge's chapter, other than small stuff like that, the encounter rate is tame :P
wow, looks like the legendary ff4.. exactly, it'll be playing it with new characters.
Okay, you guys gave me a thumbs down and convinced me that the video was misleading, so I spent the 800 Wii points..... I'm not unhappy, it was worth the Wii points for a fan, but the video is definitely NOT misleading; the encounter rate is very, very high and frustrating at times.
good to know that kaoss.
The video is misleading, I bought the game on july 1st and the encounters are not nearly as frequent.
If anything, that video all but gaurantees I won't be wasting any Wii points on FFIV:TheAfterYears. Jeebus, a random encounter every 4 steps!? NO THANKS.
Wow, that would be so irritating!! You can't even tell where you're going, and forget backtracking at all!
The battle encounters occur to much and to fast, you can barely walk to take a look at something.
*Sigh* FFIV was by far one of my most favorite games.. back when it was Final Fantasy II for the SNES.. this is by far quite horrible.. its like they're just trying to milk the name for as much as they can get. Not happy at all with this. =(
every few steps a battle ? it looks boring
Can you say Pokemon?
Monster repellent anyone?
I'm all for nostalgia, but come on...
Yup, too many encounters. And in just slightly more than a minute. Good thing that Square Enix has made encounters much less random now.
Too many Random Battles.
