Falcon MIA in WoR

I was very tired playing last night and when I woke up today I had saved on the western continent in WoR. I have already recuited Cyan, Shadow, Setzer (and have the Falcon), Sabin, and Edgar. I walked around and recruited Relm again in the mansion i Jidoor,  and deafeated the dragon at the opera house.  My airship is not on this continent. I've chocobo'd from Miranda to Zozo and everywhere in between. Is there any way I could have reached this continent through a cave, or some other means? The falcon is not here!
