While it can't compare to more recent Final Fantasy games you'll find that FF II is still very much worth playing.

Final Fantasy II may not be the most solid game in the series, but its premises and creativity make a game worth playing

Nothing has really changed as much, updated graphics are pretty. But the leveling up system can be a drag and annoying.

Final Fantasy II is a game for Masochists. It gets 5.9 Self-Inflicted deaths out of 10.

Definately the best version of an enjoyable, if simple game with an addictive levelling system, a decent story and score

I picked this up and I am a fan of the final fantasy series, but I was really disappointed with this game.Doesnt hold up

The evil hordes of Palamecia emperor cast fire and destruction upon the cities and towns of Overworld one after another....
