If you have never played FF2, or want the nostalgia of playing FFI, this game is worth the money.

With very few updates from when it was originally released, this is perfect for those of us who remember the good old days, where if you told a fighter and a thief to attack the same thing, and the thief killed it, the fighter would ravage the corpse and not help in the fight at all. It was a strategy RPG all mixed together. There isn't much to say about these games. They are as straight-forward as they can be. Select your team of 4 warriors, and then save the world. If you don't know what to do next, then start to chat with townspeople, they always point you in the right direction. FF2 has the characters already prechosen for you, although you can take them in any direction you want. This game is similar to an Elder Scrolls/Contact type game where the more you use something, the better you are. So the more magic you cast, the more MP, the more you use an Axe, the better you are with them. Random people will join you on this rather short quest. It seemed like it was a smaller world than in FFI, and it a bit of an easier game. I personally had never played it and found it worth the 10+ year wait to complete playing all the FF games. As long as you still find 2-D RPG's fun, this game should be in your collection, unless Square-Enix decide to re-re-re-release it for the DS.
