Classic Game, why change so many things? FF1 was about a 6.5 and FF2 got about a 3.

FF1- First off I have played and beaten this game over 30 times. Replay value is exellent. The Graphics are better however they changed some things in the game that made it worse.

1. You get MPs instead of Level 1 5/5 spell uses Level 2 3/3 spell uses...
- This took away some of the classic feel and made the game easy. Instead of saving the best spells for tuf spots you could use them all the time. example- (Level 7 spell 1/1. Get 1 cast... now you can cast it until you run out of MPs).
2. Made the game way to easy...
- I liked the game difficulty how it was... Spell system, Hit Points (You get more HPs easy to max to 999)... Level up way faster (yet the mobs seem on the same scale as the original NES version)... Boss fights you can cast healall and heal more HPs then they can dish out and with 999 MPs you can do this all day.
Save the game anywhere (the chance you actually die you don't have to revert back to a House/tent/cabin/inn save point). Again makes it easy.
3. What was the point of changing the names of spells and monsters... Again with the "changing too much".
They did improve Graphics tho. Gameplay > Graphics.

FF2 I had to stop playing it after 9hrs in frustration that the game was so easy. I didn't want a repeat of FF1 (so called remake of a classic).

Summary... If you want to play a classic go play a classic... If you have not played FF1 or FF2 go play the classic.
