This looks like a game for people who don't really like the main series games.

I see a lot of fans of the main series complain about this game because of the lack of various RPG elements. Yet the lack of those elements is what has me interested in this game, since I have never cared for standard turn-based RPGs (aside from Pokemon and the Mario RPGs, which are sort of RPG-lite games).
I kind of wonder if this game would have been better received if it had not been called Final Fantasy at all, and was just called "The Crystal Bearers", or something. Attaching it to the Final Fantasy brand just served to advertise the game to the wrong audience.
I've decided not to have a signature.

I think this was really more of a test of the Wii for Final Fantasy games. In my opinion Square Enix, wanted to test, how well received a motion control Final Fantasy would work out. From what I remember this game wasn't received very well, though it did have a nice fanbase for a while. And think about it for a second, how many Final Fantasy games have you seen on the Wii, since this one?
