Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time Video Preview (Wii)

This was the trailer for the wii version, the graphics aren't great because of the ability to play with people on the DS and wii. From what i have read you can play with 1 person on the wii and 3 people on DS wirelessly, that being said, you could also play with friends that own the wii version over the internet. The graphics arent amazing but I sort of like them the way they are :) Should be a great addition to my game library

Can two Wiis connect to play together? Or it has to be one Wii and 3 DS? Somehow I'm sceptical about online play on the Wii.

This actually looks like lots of fun. I'm gonna keep my eye on it.

The way i see this, is that this is the original ff cc in a recreate better version of ring of fates. A plus is it looks like they brought the customizable character like in the original. Still this game should kick butt .

It does look good. Its just a little disappointing that the characters look more like DS characters but I still really want it

Looks pretty good to me, even if it is a little basic in it's presentation.

I feel it's a bit pointless releasing this on the Wii as well, i hope they don't make it a full £40 because it's exactly the same as the DS game which is gunna be cheaper. If they'd upgraded the graphics for the Wii version then it'd be okay, but seeing as it's exactly the same they shouldn't charge any more for it. Also, i hope it's longer than Ring of Fates was, i loved that game but it was over way waaaay too fast.

This version is so to say, an expansion of the game, not content speaking but... let's say it's just like playing the game on the ds, with 2 larger screens, in order to make the action more clear. This is the purpouse of the wii version, to have a better vision of the game area, and that explains the direct port of the gfx from the ds to the wii. I'm really waiting for this! 8)

What i'm really excited to see is how exactly it will auto-translate speech. It will help to reverse the clausterphobic feel when playing with a foreigner. And considering I have some pong distance friends who are also CC fans, co-op will really be nice. The story will hopefully be a draw in too.

the only think I do not like is why in the name of heaven they could not have change that two screen thing... and WHY?? no using the wiitalk or whatever the name is.. again bubles... :? @addison: nope is a diferent game.... :) supposely in the future, but no a real "sequel" in the sense that has new characters and such...

wait... is this just a nearly exact remake of the earlier FFCC for the DS? i swear i recognize that dungeon from it... oo well, looks like a great game, but ill probably only get it for the DS though...

RandomWarrior: Why are you basing your stupid opinion on the graphic alone so let me get this right Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time suck as well due to the lack of great graphic, I'll say this again for those bashing the game, the game wasn't build from the ground up on the Wii it was build on the DS hardware, also the game is suppose to hold you over until we can get our hands on The Crystal Bearers nothing more nothing less. Period

well i will be puttin $40 away for this one for sure. i am new to the whole DS gameplay for i just got mine like 2 weeks ago i am looking forward to this for i am a FF fan and have like played like every one

agh .... me and my friends don't have any DS ... I only have wii .... why don't they make it 4 split screen like PSO in GC before .... sigh .....

This game looks really good. And the online feature makes it more than good it makes it AMAZING. The wii is finally starting to take advantage of there online feature. SO HAPPY >.

about time they used the ds/wii combo! I'm curious about the surface quality - everyone is saying it looks not quite as good as the GC version, and i'd agree. But... I want this game...

I can't wait I'll be getting this game for sure, day one purchase for me if I can go to the store on that day, also Uglypinkmoose what does this game have to do with Nintendo if the game is made by Square-Enix mind you and I believe you can play with other Wii owners online as well.

the gamecube one was so amazing looking this is lame in comparison but looks fun of course you cant play multiplayer with just a wii cuz nintendo wants their money so i wont be buying it i liked the first one but these games are really meant for multiple people so unless u have a bunch of DS's its a wast of money

The console to console interaction definitely looks interesting and I can't wait to see it in action, as well as worldwide online play.

The graphics look so terrible, compared to the Gamecube original. Normally things like that don't bother me, but the original was so beautiful. It reminded me of a storybook. It was one of the most striking features of the game. Making such a huge step backwards was a very poor choice, and the game as a whole suffers greatly because of it. Oh well. At least the game should still be fun.

It's nice that they are able to go DS to Wii and back and forth and all that, but the visuals of Crystal Chronicles for the gamecube still stand out to me. These look, respectively, like the DS graphics just more crisp, which makes sense if the two systems are compatible with each other. Now, if they make another CC game, I would love the visuals, because the original had some of the best on the gamecube in my opinion.
