Both games are awesome, if you can get pass the loading.

User Rating: 8.5 | Final Fantasy Chronicles PS
Both games possess a complete and well build story. Especially Chrono Trigger, which, I think, is one of the best RPG ever.

Chrono Trigger looks better than Final Fantasy IV, it was made later in the life of the Super Nintendo. So the sound is better, the graphics are better and it goes the same way for the controls. But, Final Fantasy has a well twisted story that will encourage anyone to finish the game so he can see the conclusion of the plot. But, for today, this game will only be see as a standard RPG. Still, it was maybe the first one that was so immersive.

Chrono Trigger is a masterpiece of a game. It was done perfectly. The art design was made by Akira Toryiama, the creator of Dragon Ball, which should please more than one. The story could have been a mess, whereas it travels in time so anything that changes in past, might changes the future too. But it is told so admirably, that it is a charm to get through it. Plus, there is a few side quests, easter eggs and a lot of hidden items that lets any hardcore gamer pull his part to complete and find them all.

There's a lot of different ending, some are not enjoyable at all, or almost. Some are sweet and surprising.

The only bad thing is the loading time between each battle, opening menu and stuff. It's a pretty short loading, almost non-existent, but it wasn't there on the Super Nintendo and it annoys me.

Anyway, Chrono Trigger is a must play for any RPG gamer. Final Fantasy IV is a good one and for this price, you shall get both games.
