Two great RPGS in one package, but if you have any other method of playing them, please, by all means, take it.
All special features aside, this port does a serviceable job of emulating these two great titles. The catch? Loading before each battle (especially in Chrono Trigger, where the field and battle screens are one in the same) really takes you out of the game. My review may be a little late to the game, since FFIV has seen a new port (GBA) and a complete graphical overhaul on the Nintendo DS that's well worth it. Chrono Trigger has also seen re-release on the touch screen handheld with all the extra features in place (including the FMVs) and no loading! If you haven't played these games yet, shame on you. If you only have a PSOne or PS2, then by all means, seek this out on Amazon or your nearby used game store and it'll be well worth your time.
