2 games that changed the way the world looked at RPG's forever sold to together in one collectors addition

User Rating: 9.5 | Final Fantasy Chronicles PS
when Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger came out originally on the SNES it changed the worlds opinion about RPG's Final Fantasy IV brought us into a world that was at the hands of an Empire that ruled it, and how one Man named Cecil stood up to them and took them down. IV's gameplay is very fun at first the game seems really hard it it does remain quite hard through the rest of it you will have to do a fair share of grinding in order to beat it. fear not though it is fun offers many sidequests and a cast of characters. a few major problems with IV is the fact by the end of the game you only have 5 members in your party and the fact that Edward The bard is worthless. The next game is Chrono Trigger this game revolutionized RPG's forever. It showed us that we could mix elements of Sci-Fi and Fantasy to make one kick butt game. You start out as a young boy named Crono who one day at a fair while hangin with his freinds finds himself thrown through time on a journey to save the world. along the way you meet a frog that wields a sword who's name is Frog (imagine that) and a robot named Robo. The battle system has a familiar turn-based feel to it but also has a uniqueness to it. These two games made RPG's what they are today. go out and buy them with a Remake of IV for the DS and a soon to be Import of Chrono Trigger on the DS these are some titles that any gamer needs to pick up and play.
