- The Bottom Line:
- "Highly addictive"
This is a remake of an old game. It looks much better and there is more dungeons. That being said, it is also the only version anyone will probably buy of the game, only because it is the only version available for most gamers, who own a system of the present. You can bash it for the fans of Final Fantasy who have the very first one, i.e. for NES, then again, we could just agree that this is the only version of the first in the series for people who don't own a NES, and just want to see what it was sort of like.
The game itself is not terrible, nor is it amazing, but I thought it was very addictive. Although I usually only play games with a story, this game I found to be a very fun experience. It had many levels to it, and was filled with content. It really is perfect if you want an rpg on the go game, with nothing to do but fight. An example of a perfect little portable game. But, if you don't like RPGs, you most likely won't like this game.
When you beat the game you unlock art. When you find all the enemies, you will unlock more art. So the unlockables aren't too good, but you end up getting about sixty pieces of art, so you do get a little personal gallery of some very good art.
Get this game if you love rpgs, are fans of series, or just want to switch it up.

Not as epic or detailed as other Final Fantasy games but it is still an important classic!
