By far the best remake for Final fantasy 1, but not worth the price and dissapointing as a remake.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but the game has 2 cutscenes (the other ones are just pictures) and just is not worth the $20.00+ price tag. The 2d graphics are Great, and I mean Grrrrrreat! the characters are the same except one new one, the soul of chaos dungeons, and a new one (which I hate,) and like what the back of the case says, it delivers the same classic game play. the battle music is great, but after quite a while through the game it will give you a head ache, and the random battles are too repetitive. the music is different for bosses and dungeons, the frequent disk loads are very puzzling, because this is 2D and no cutscenes, why does it pause and load just to go to the start menu? I dont get it, MPO+ never loads from the disk after the level is started, and it has a 3D map and Great graphics, and it loads again after you complete one map. sorry for comparing two completely different games, but i was only comparing system usage, and im sure that MPO+ uses more of the PSP's system and memory than FF1 does. other than this, the game is great. if you love games from the past and now, and love RPGs or have played and liked Final Fantasy, This game is great and should be in a collectors box.
