it cuts off a bit of the sides (armor HUD is not visible with Fighting Vipers display options set to the highest.), but the whole gameplay is easily in view and looks better than sandwiching widescreen display on a 4:3 aspect ratio. (also Fighting Viper's settings options has some screen size settings). But yea people that don't want borders, 16:9 setting in PS3 Display settings is the way to go for this (in combination with FV's adjustable screen size settings so you can adjust it more to your liking). Looks much bigger and better.
