fun to kick butt with your custom character, but that's all it's good for.

I will get right down to the point, if you really want the experience of making your own fighter and custom moves from scratch then get this game you! But other than that it's not worth it. Making the fighter and the moves themselves is pretty fun if you know what you're doing but it can get really time consuming. You have 3 axes (X,Y and Z, basically up/down, left/right and back/forth) to move EACH limb on your character for EACH frame of animation then at the end you specify which frame is used for the sound effect of making a hit and how much damage it does, then you save all that and name your move and assign which button on your controller activates it. After making a few moves you can chain them up to make combos. Pretty simple you say?Takes a while to get used to it. The graphics for this game are a bit too blocky and don't compare to other fighting games. The music is boring also. The game overall looks and sounds like a beta for something that had potential to be truly great. The fun factor is ok, you'll have a lot of fun pounding your enemies into the ground with your custom fighter. The best thing about this game is making your own grabs, you can do any kind of wacky grab attack considering you have the patience and time for it. Oh, i forgot to mention when you're making your fighter, you can make a profile for him/her too like age, where they come from and stuff like that. If you need help with the moves, you can load pre made moves of characters in the game and check out how many frames they are and so on. I recommend this for people who want to eventually get into making their own games because you can learn a lot about how to make a fighting game.
