- "Surprisingly good"
This game is brilliant, its like ps2 quality but on a handheld so thats great. There are plenty of fighters to choose from such as Roy Jones Jr, Ali, Fraser, Hatton, Bernard Hopkins and plenty more. Also there are some really fun game modes. There are rival challenges and this is where you can repeat or change history by playing classic fights such as Ali vs frazer or Taylor vs Hopkins, and there are several more.
Then there is Hard hits and in this you play a full 15 round fight, but the winner is the one with the most knockdowns. Now the games backbone. CAREER MODE! This will keep you playing for ages. You create a character, give him a name then start of at amateur and climb your way up the ranks, aiming to get to the top spot at rank 1 where you get a belt for whichever weight division you chose, which could be feather, light, middle or heavy weight. Its really satisfying when you win fights and Knockdown people with the Haymakers.
Haymakers are more powerful than regular jabs and straights, and they can be hooks or uppercuts. The gameplay is great and very similar to ps2/ps3. Only difference is Psp version has just one analogue stick and punches are done by pressing buttons. Overall though the animations do look alot like the other versions.
My favourite game at the moment, very addictive, and has great graphcis even though its a five year old game. Great value for 10 pounds though so I highly recommend this game.
