Fight Night Round 3 on PS2 is a great game, although there are some things needed to be fixed up. The FNR3 season mode is very good, although can get boring if played for ages. The boxers are very accurate in looking like them in real life. As soon as I saw Evander Holyfield in the list, I knew it was him from appearance.
The game has done good in capturing the boxers moves and punches. The Haymaker and the Stun-punch is a great feature, and it feels like you are actually in that persons shoes when you give them that KO right in their face. The Flash KO is the move I really like. Hit them with this once, and down they go.
Creating a new boxer can look a little bit dodgy, because if you want your boxer to be muscly and have a 6-pack, your 6-pack could look a bit out of hand. That beside, the face and hair have done alright in my point of view.
The problem I found most reoccurring and annoying was that your hand would go through your oppenents head if you had knocked him out. Another was that when your opponent had reached the floor from the knockout, a part of his body would twitch. Like his left leg or he'd be moving strangely.
But with all that aside, what's done is done and I still play this game for ages. It's great gameplay, visuals and sound has done very good and I ain't dissapointed. 9.0 out of 10.
