I really think that Gamespot dropped the proverbial ball on this one. I think that for the PSP:
1) The controls are pretty on spot for this console, yeah it takes some getting used to, but the learning curve really is not that steep if you have two opposable thumbs. I say 8.5
2) The graphics are really pretty nice as well as the animations being fairly fluid plus with all of the customization options, i say 9.0
3) Fun factor is very high with career mode as well as being able to drop right into one of the classic fights of all time. I say 9.2.
4) Overall: For me the game has only one major drawback and that is the load times. I am not comparing this game to the same title on home console systems. For a PSP game it is great, more fun than any I have played thus far on the PSP. And, even though the controls take time to learn I like that aspect....that it actually takes some skill. Overall my score is an 8.9.
