Fight Night Round 3 is the best simulated boxing game out there.

Fight Night Round 3 provides the same great controls, the same great graphics, with even a larger roster of fighters to choose from. I suppose if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but that doesn't mean you cannot tweak or add a few more features.

EA has chose to not improve on the create-a-fighter feature, which could be a huge mistake. Every fighter you create will look eerily similar to each other, and as you progress through Career Mode you will feel like you are fighting the same fighter with a different haircut (in some cases). You still cannot customize your fighters reach, which could make fights more interesting.

Career mode, like in all boxing games, is not immersive enough. Although they have improves since FNR2. They could add more mini-game type training features instead of the same speed-bag, punching bag, weight lifting routine.

Fight Night would make a great multiplayer game if it weren't for the fact that it is very difficult to fight from the right side.

These problems aside, Fight Night Round 3 is still the best (realistic) boxing game out there.
