Despite gamespot score this game is great. Easy controls, great graphics, and worth buying.
The graphics are great. Especially when you score a knock down. The fighter entrances are pretty decent. You have the option of changing entrance songs and special effects like fire and smoke. Aswell as a girl dancing by the ring when you walk towards the ring. All theses things give you boosts like stamina and heart. But all of these effects cost money. So if you can afford the "Tourist Trap" entrance for about $5,000 which consists of fireworks and cool lights then you wont regret it. Being able to choose these affects gives you more of a real life feeling to the game.
The controls arent that difficult. It took me about 10-20 minutes to get the hang of it. After that i was ready to kick-ass!!
Championship mode is fun. You start as an amateur boxer and you have to work your way up to become the champion. Once you become the champion you have to defend your Championship belt. You can also fight for other belts aswell. But after a while you get bored of defending your belt against usually the same fighters all the time. Online play is fun. Getting to Fight against other people gets exciting and frustrating and times wich is a big plus.
Overall this game wont dissapoint you and is definetly worth buying. Great gameplay and graphics make this game really good. Fight Night Round 3 is very underrated.
