One of the best boxing games I've played since Punch-Out for NES.

I Have to admit that I'm not a big fan of boxing games, but this proved to me that there are good boxing games out there than Punch-Out. First, the graphics are great on the Xbox with sharper visuals and a little better lighting than PS2, but nothing that would make it a major difference between the two . The career mode is good but short leaving you wanting more. The create a boxer is pretty flexable in making your character to look like yourself. I wish you were able to use your own music for the entrances though. The gameplay on this game however is the real jewel here. By using both analogs, one to hit and the other for movement, makes the gameplay much deeper than most boxing games. You can also use a button layout for your punches if you perfer the old way to play, but using the analog gives you more freedom allowing you to fake your punches or leading them through. The animations are also great since using a rag-doll effect. The only thing I wish is they had more dynamic camera angles when you knock your opponent down. Another thing that is also sad is that there is no online play and only PS2 exclusive. All in all this is the best boxing game out there now and is great when you are play other players.
