A bit too easy for vetreren cricket games, but just right for smashing 6s against your mates

Whilst the difficulty may not ramp up too much for experienced cricket fans, the game offers some solid fun if you just want a game where you can smash 6s and 4s at your hearts content against the team that just beat your nation in the Ashes or 20/20 cup.
Try not to be hindered by the licensing issues that plague the exhibition matches, unfortunately in those modes the players names are a bit scrambled, causing some extra thinking to be had when you want figure out just who is coming up for bat. The player's names are present however in the world cup and tournament modes.
Creating an original team of 16 original players was quite fun, bringing family members into your team is always a nice touch, and the create a player tool is not complicated or advanced, but creates some generic players that look as good as the pros represented.
The graphics aren't impressive, but having recently played some old cricket games on the ps2, I can safely say that they graphics are a big leap from last generation versions of the game.
The game play might be a tad easy for veteran players, and there are some annoying unskippable animations. But the game is a blast, and best served with some friends on the couch.
