- "Total letdown"
First of all I believe Fifa 13 easily could have been called Fifa 12.5.
I have to admit that I'm quite disappointed with Fifa 13. As other reviewers have expressed, this game feels and plays almost exactly like Fifa 12.
EA Sports have developed the "First Touch", which I believe isn't quite well made (just like last year's "Player Impact Engine"). The idea is absolutely fine and with good intentions. The problem is - it simply is NOT acceptable and it is not working the way it should be!
The Player Impact Engine is slightly improved, but you still se some problems with it, e.g. players falling awkwardly etc.
I also still think the A.I is lacking. For instance players can miss a total open goal or hit the post. The control isn't as accurate, which can be extremely frustrating at some points.
The major problem at the moment is - there are no alternatives to soccer games at the moment - perhaps when we see a new generation it could be possible.
I also have to mention that I've also played PES 2013, but the game still needs improvements. Until then I would go with Fifa 13. BUT it is only because in lack of a better soccer game.
I strongly hope EA Sports will pull themselves together next year - with Fifa 13 it's just post and out - unfortunately.

We wanted it sharp, but it's not as they told us.

EA's famous franchise improved enough to be worth its names.
