Playing Football on the go, with a mix variety of choices to choose from #Android/Xperia Play Review#

Football is really popular here in the UK and for the rest of the world, every year most Fifa games have always surprised its fans and sports lovers out there. The last I've actually played a Fifa game was Fifa 99 all the way back on the PS1. Fifa 12 is the latest instalment in the series for 2012 released on nearly all platforms.

Gameplay: Unlike the past or normal gameplay controls for Fifa games, the gameplay controls for the Xperia Play are a little similar to the IPhone version when selecting a quick match or selecting Game Modes you can use the touch screen to select and choose what team you want to play as.

There's a mix of variety of teams and cup matches from England FA cups to European theme cup matches. Career mode manager's relationship with players and the media will play a larger role, with team selection, success, and salaries all affecting individual players' attitudes and morale, and the press picking up on injuries and unrest, all of which can impact performance on the pitch.

During a match you'll be using the analog stick to move/sprint players across the field, and use the X button to pass the ball to your team mates; and using circle to try and kick and shoot to scoring a goal. You can use the touch screen to defend and pass to players as well which is an option which will appear on the screen and also use Triangle and the R button to do a high kick.

Graphics and Sound: Unlike the current gen-versions of Fifa 12 on PS3, 360 and PC, the graphics for Fifa 12 on Xperia do look good to look at but almost identical to the PSP and PS2 versions if you've played the past current games before the latest instalment. Couldn't hardly see any camera problems since most sports games are from above view and a bit of 3rd-person when your either passing the ball to the side of the field, or when trying to defend from them making a goal.

Great Audio commentary from each of the matches you play just like on a regular match either in the stadium or on your TV. Soundtrack is another great thing to a sports game with a variety of music to listen while selecting at the main menu and choosing what team and match to play through.

Overall: For a cheap price Fifa 12 is worth the download for your phone and will keep you busy for quite a while and showing off to your mates on how god you on Fifa. But however there is no online multiplayer but there are achievements and trophy to pick up which will keep you coming back for more.
