this will be superb im sure but for the 1st time pes11 may actually be as good as they built 90% from ground up for the first time for ages

all pc gamers know that football and fighting games are rubbish on pc, so buy a console for football and fighting and pc for shooting and driving simple as.... pc owns for fps and f1 get a console for football and fighting and im repeating myself to cure an argument. pc owners dont get angry when console owners try to slag us off, they dont have real fps or driving like us in dx11. console owners dont get mad about dx11 u prob dont understand... GET BOTH FORMATS FOR BOTH TYPES OF GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fifa World Cup is great and 09 was awesome, I completely disagree that PES is better. Playing PES is like watching ants run around a green square. And to danielcanas7 I'd have to say Christiano Ronaldo, after seeing him hit the free kick from 40 yards out straight into the upper 90 against Arsenal I just don't think anyone is better.

definitely buying this one!!! @valent1n: you're probably a PES fanboy but believe me, I buy both games every year and PES is becoming worse ever since 2008. and it used to be my favorite footbal game but if they dont get it better this year, pes 2011 will be the last PES i buy.

It hurts but FIFA for PC does not seem right any more. I've played the FIFA series almost all my life as a fan, except for this year. I've "finally" decided to go with the Pro Evolution Soccer series for PC, which happen to be far better in many aspects.

More control and precision passing always is nice.

abit of passing was improved and player personality what is that lyk dnt want to get to know them i just wanna play the game!... do some more to the way u score goals its way to easy.. is it worth the money probably not just fifa 10 with harder passing!

@bond007_gamer: Yes I know what you mean about FPS games but I am talking about football games. And I know that you can use 360 controls and other types of controls. Not everybody knows about them and it would cost a good bit of money.

talking about the game.. i think it will be much improved after fifa 10.. player specific skills and saving replays to hd etc.. what i dont want is.. game to be much difficult.. and what i want is when we shoot accurately, we should more often find the goal.. 1 more intresting addition can be enabling 1st person view with the tap of a button while playing a match as its there in training sessions in fifa 10. it would be nice to have if we want to score a goal or make a tackle. fifa 11 should be fun. they shouldn't make it that realistic football sim.. that it may make pain in our fingers playing a 20 min game..

@Balmane dont we have 360 controller for pc and many more limitless controllers are available for pc but not for consoles. do you thing today's pc gamer depends only on mouse and keaboard to play games?? in fact pc gamer has options with him. i have both a xbox 360 and a gaming pc.. i wish i could use a mouse for playing FPS games on my 360, coz i hate aiming from joystick. i can say this bcoz i m not a kid who has seen gaming on a 360. i have played on pc for many years. i love my pc and 360 both. i think pc gamers diserve a fifa game as good as console versions. coz pc aint inferior by any means than consoles. in fact it is and will be superior in coming years. we still dont have 3D gaming on consoles though it is there on pc.

I wish they'd include the live season for the Scottish league..or better still ALL the leagues in the game. it'll be the decider for me whether I buy it or not

look 'hiliary' its nothing new company's see what people want and exploit our inability to be happy with what we have. Not only that, but in terms of say, games we are always more in inclined to buy games others are getting, this is really down to the explosion of people using 'live' and 'psn'. Take for instance the new ipad, now i wont bore how i know this but its really not a success yet they will tell us out of marketing genius that its selling great already and all the crap!

Well aren't you the Mr./Mrs. stereotypical "corporations are evil, the world is out to get us" person.

I've said this one, and I'll say it again. EA, along with every other major corporation, are just a bunch of miserable, greedy conglomerates milking consumers for every single penny. Why? because they know they can. It's simple, we consumers are easily enticed into buying products, because studies have clearly shown that consumers consciously, and most importantly, subconsciously, purchase products from feelings of pressure. That pressure being to "fit in" (to have what the other person has so you don't feel left out). It's all a theatrical event for them and the stage is set. They (being big corporation) research what's in demand. Then they bring experts within the field to produce the product. They advertise the product (and this is where they get us) by driving into our subconscious mind an image that gets to us emotionally, NEVER analytically, because god forbid we should think for ourselves. They repeat this process over and over and over again until it's completely embedded within our subconscious mind, just like those quick 10-15 second advertisements before the intended video you've gone to watch. Then, once the product is available, BAM! they've got us right where they want us, by our pockets. It's that simple. It's like leading the sheep to the coyotes. This is the reality folks. Don't be fooled. Think analytically before buying a product, NEVER emotionally.

fifa will never be even close as good as PES

Why are people complaining about this game not being on PC? I mean PC is great but this is a game which plays best with a controller not mouse or keyboard. Only football games that can really be played proper are the manager games. Besides that FIFA 2011 looks like it will be just as good as last year :D

Excited for this game, FIFA10 was awsome

This year EAs doing a marketing strategy that involves indepth explanation of the game programming (similar story with NBA elite as well)...making it feel as if theres something radical this year...but not. The passing pattern that is being explained is what was already done in PES 6..depending upon the speed of the pass...the player attribute....the same passing pattern makes the AI read the game afterwards making much more complex.

@ o0MrCheesy0o It's only $10 to play online if you don't buy it new, when Fifa 10 came out in the U.K it was like £25 (bout $40) thats not much for a new game.

These guys think that Ps3 and 360 is the most important platform. Well don't forget how you make these games, and with WHAT. Its called the PC.

looks like a nice addition.... keep the gameplay improvements comming, graphics can take a back seat IMO

he is not that wrong though.. Depends on if you play the Pc version or the console one. The pc version is nothing like the HD version. Graphics are outdated so feels the whole gameplay. The HD console version on the other hand is amazing, especially the 2010's animation system is way ahead of the competition.

players move the same as they did in 90s games just better graphics, jerseys look like they're out of cardboard there's no movement, fans look like they came out of the sims games

@Hiliary: from a business perspective (which it actually is), it makes perfect sense for them to do that, to maximize profits, all developers do that, EA just takes it up a notch.

It's never enough with these people. Every year they implement one or two features and consider it a new game. ENOUGH ALREADY! Don't these morons have testers to test the game and give them feedback saying "add this" "add that" "it would be nice to have this" then just freakin ADD IT and stop there!?!? This is all a ploy to take more money from us. You can't even enjoy a game before another one is out making the previous one almost obsolete, or not worth playing. Just pure ridiculousness.

@o0MrCheesy0o.i have FIFA 10 and i hardly ever play online because it always lags and just because u have to pay for online doesent meen u shouldnt buy it. i meen u have manager mode and be a pro mode witch is much better than online!!FIFA 11 is a must buy for me even if i have to pay 10 pounds every month!!!! @o0MrCheesy0o: How's about instead of boycotting EA altogether, you just don't play online? You can still invite your friends over and play all the multiplayer you want. You don't have to stop buying FIFA 11 just because EA is making us pay for online play.

As much as you like FIFA 11, don't buy it! Don't fall into EAs evil hands. Don't do it! Don't give them that extra $10 for online play! FIFA version on the consoles is good. On the PC it sucks. So I buy PES, which has better grahpics on the PC than FIFA on the PC. If they can make the overall game better, I would buy FIFA because they have the licenses for the teams and stuff. But if not, I'll just go PES again and dl patches from PESEDIT again.
