With the next generation engine, the game finally get into Soccer game competition; but its not enough yet.

I had played soccer game for many years, until FIFA07, I decided to left FIFA series as it was NO improvements, just a NEW old game. This year, I've heard that EA Sport used a NEW engine, and I was glad to try once again. The game was running smooth on my computer without any problems.

For the game engine, I cannot say it is the best engine in Soccer game, but it DO performing better than PES's (demo) one. I am still struggling with the camera as it was so far away from my controlled player, and the ball was too small to locate (I have already adjust the ZOOM to the highest, maybe I have to buy a larger monitor !!)......

The motion of the players on the pitch is what I've seen the BEST, they are not running like a robot, with body bumping, good dribbling / tackling skills. There was still a problem, where the A.I. players sometimes bringing the ball out of boundary; there were too little foul/card, especially the A.I. team, he tackled down my player without ball with no foul. However, I would pleased the actions of referee, where sometimes, he would not blow for foul and would gave the card afterthat.

The weak point of the game is.......EA sport aims to join the competition with PES by adding Manager mode / Be a Pro mode, but what they have done is just disappointing, especially in Be a Pro mode. I had played TWO seasons in Be a Pro mode (in Arsenal), but there is only Premiership League / International matches, with NO European Cup, League Cup and FA Cup. What you have to do is play match, gain experience points and use the points to improve your skill.....thats ALL. You will have chance to transfer to other teams at the end of the seasons, but there are only randomly choice Football Club. For me, I was already a regular First team member in Arsenal (I was the Top scorer in Premiership League), and at the end of the season, only ONE top FC (Manchester United) offer me contract, the others three clubs are some Series B teams in other countries.

Then, in Manager mode, at the beginning, the game just inform me the team had signed THREE sponsors (not choose by me). Next, I cannot arrange friendies match before season but only can make some transfer bids.....then, setup the training, team tactics....in a simple way (don't expect to play it like Football Manager). I can improve the staff level by giving money (no need to wait for trainning, level up immediately). There are information of major leagues / cups in Europe, but it is not details enough - when you want to buy player, I do think you should know the performance of a player, right? but unfortunately, there is no such details information. I know EA Sport has FIFA Manager 2010, why didn't it copy parts of it into FIFA 11?

How to say,....EA Sport is full of Ambitious, but they haven't put enough effort into the game. For me, this game is disappointed, but honestly, the game engine of FIFA 11 is better than PES 2011; where the details / organisation of the Game Mode (Manager / Be a Pro mode) is poor than PES.
