Fifa 09 might be similar to Fifa 08 but some improvements which were very slight for the ps2 actually make a difference
Only new rosters and players and new jerseys
THATS IT????
In terms of graphics some players look as pathetic as in fifa 08 such as Cesc Fabregas who does look realistic at all in all the recent fifa games including this one
All that is new are a few new animations such as falling and tumbling and appealing etc
Goal scoring seems to be much more easier as long range shooting works most of the time as compared to fifa 08
where the keeper seemed to be unstoppable
Finishing is much more effective and it is very easy to score goals as compared to fifa 08
Visuals of some of the players have improved such as of Ribery and Adebayor etc but some others remain the same
All in all an obviously better game than fifa 08 but i feel it could have been better
EA should have put a bit more into the ps2 version such as improvement in graphics
I as always am very forgiving and love all fifa games this one being no exception ;hence the 9.5/10
Few new skills are also introduced such as rainbow flick, heel to heel(which is useful and looks cool),etc
Anyway any fifa and football lover will like this game but i surely feel EA should have done better for the ps2
