I enjoyed a lot the first Stalker game, Shadow of Chernobyl. I liked the story, the atmosphere depicting how things could have been if a nuclear disaster had taken place. I liked this one too, but not as much as I did the first one. Basically you're a sergeant and your final aim is to find what happened to four choppers sent by the army. Of course, there are lots of side quests with the help of which one can earn money with which you can buy ammo, upgrade your weapons, repair them or buy some medical kits. I liked the mutants, the way they attack you, some of them are pretty deadly and if you don't save often as possible, then you'll die pretty fast. It's a difficult game, and you have to be patient with it to give you what it has best: the Zone. There are all sorts of mutations, zombies, chimeras and rivals. Their gunshot is deadly as hell. Overall I think it's a shooter with some RPG characteristics.
