This is a fun but shallow imagination of what it might be like to be the manager of a football club.

In a way this game feels like a collection of football related mini games you might otherwise find on facebook.

Once you've gotten the hang of it you'll be doing the same things over and over again in quite pretty but simple menu screens. If you know football and especially if you're a fan of a particular team, you'll still love taking the reigns at that club. But if you don't have that back story of what is going on at these clubs in real life, my guess is you'll get bored fairly quickly.

While you can undertake an enormous variety of coaching related tasks like setting lineups, tweaking tactics, training your squad, buying/selling players, there's also a wide array of managerial stuff you could tackle. Setting ticket prices, merchandising etc.

The problem is that almost all of these things aren't fun to do, especially in the long haul. Some because they're tedious and repetitive. Others feel oversimplified to the point were you don't really feel like the stuff you do matters. It's kind of hard to put into words, so to cut this relatively short: It's a fun game, if you want an approximation of what it's like to be a manager of a football club, but don't expect much substance let alone a true simulation.
