The only reason this game gets trashed is Advance Wars.

I personally like this game. This PSP game actually feels like a handheld game with its turn-based gameplay. The capaign is quite difficult at certain points. There are many opportunities and units in the game. The graphics are not that great compared to many other PSP titles, but it more than gets the job done. The voice acting is relatively good and the game has an overall likeable style. I understand why many people compare this game to the Advance Wars games and similar titles but why can't this game use a similar formula? It's like trashing Call of Duty because of Medal of Honor or hating Midnight Club because of Need for Speed. It's obvious that the Advance Wars series will never hit the PSP and I think this game was a really ambitious attempt at providing something a bit similar, but still different. One thing I must mention is the music. It really wasn't anything special but I liked it and it did a good job creating a battlefield-ish atmosphere. Overall I whole-heartedly recommend this game to anyone who likes strategy games and have a PSP.
