One of the trickiest Turn Based Strategy game available on PSP...
Field Commander is like a combination of the two famous Turn-based strategy games I've mentioned above. A very good strategy game with a lengthy campaign and challenging missions that will really pump up your brain cells.
The game lets you handle and command a group of military infantry and vehicles equipped with specific types of weapons suitable for each opponent unit. It has invisible and camouflaged units and special unique powers available for every division for which is a good add-on for turning tides. As you progress through the game, you will encounter different scenarios each requiring a different strategic approach.
Aside form briefing scenes and training episodes, you can expect no more from its cinematics. The game also offers different angle views in combat mode but lacks a zoom in, zoom out function. Units could also use some more improved graphical unit designs and some of the unlockables are a bit lame... but if you don't mind this and really enjoy a good strategy game then Field Commander is worth giving a try.
