The Imperial Interdictor is designed to intercept and ambush starships traveling through hyperspace. It can hold its own in battles as well, with comparable performance to the Nebulon-B Frigate. Although its shields are tougher than the Nebulon's, its hull - particularly because of the gravity wells it uses to ply its trade - is much more vulnerable. Attack it quickly and fiercely, because once you penetrate the shields, the Interdictor may be easily destroyed.
