Getting There
To get to the Alien Dimension, you must research advanced X-COM craft. Send the Dimension Probe through one of the gates, and immediately send it back home when it reaches the other side. Go to a biology lab and research the Alien Dimension, then research the Alien Building. Only by destroying each alien building and researching the next can you gain entry into other alien structures.
There are many UFOs in the alien dimension, and they will try to destroy the craft you send through. The easiest way to get around this is to hold off your field trip until you can take a few Retaliators and Annihilators along for the ride. They'll hold off most of the UFOs and allow your X-COM agent ship - use a Biotrans for this - to enter unmolested. |
