When Yun and Yang's parents separated, they were raised by their grandparents in China. A little hot-tempered by nature, Yun acts as the leader and spokesperson of his small village. He was trained in the arts of Kempo with his brother Yang, and both are equally skilled. Thus, the villagers have come to call them the Twin Dragons. Yang is less social than his brother and prefers to watch his brother steal the spotlight form a distance. Yun and Yang are both athletic, and while Yun loves skateboarding, Yang has a passion for rollerblades. Little is known about the grandparents of these two wily youths, or their childhood, except rumors of receiving instructions from the great fighter Gen. In fact, their fighting styles mimic Gen's so closely, many think they were raised by the old warrior in the alleys of China. At any rate, the youths are the protectors of their village and have saved the local businesses from having to pay protection fees to corrupt organizations. Now that the next Street Fighter tournament is ready to begin, Yun has the idea to show the world how strong he is by winning the championship and defeating Gill, the newest threat to his small town. Reluctantly, Yang follows Yun into the contest, and secretly hopes to face off against his brother, to show Yun that he's not as great as he thinks. And in Street Fighter III: Second Impact/ Street Fighter III: Second Impact - Giant Attack (where the two are separated), he should get his chance.
