     
Originally appearing in Final Fight, Rolento was the leader of the Mad Gear paramilitary forces until the gang's disbandment. A former mercenary, he has been marshaling his own army to take over Mike Haggar's city once more. As a show of power, Rolento now hopes to win the Street Fighter tournament and further his own twisted goals. Vaguely like Eagle, Rolento is a master of the military tonfa baton, and is an adept knife thrower. He also likes to use concussion grenades on his enemy to weaken its defenses. An agile fighter, Rolento needs little backup from his own troops, but prefers to keep a few in the background in case he gets in trouble, or feels the need to gang up on his opponent. Ironically, Rolento is seeking out Sodom to recruit him into his army, while Sodom is doing the same to him! Whoever wins when these two face off will control the Mad Gear's destiny.
