Popularity wars have been waged between game characters since the industry's inception, Mario vs. Sonic, Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter, and Warcraft vs. Command & Conquer. Duke wins hands-down in the personality department. The Quake marine is just a silent grunt; while Duke is the most memorable first-person shooter hero ever. He's the guy with the big gun and the big attitude; you know, the one wearing sunglasses. If you don't know Duke, you will shortly. Grab your favorite weapon, sit back, and learn all about the history of one of the most irreverent games and names around, Duke Nukem. "Hail to the King, baby!"
