Day 6: Ship – The Final Battle
The Final Battle is a straightforward affair. And it goes something like this:
Enter the ship room. Save first before talking to Wayne. Make any last modifications to weapons and armor. Collect any items from the sailor. If happy with your final setup, save again and leave the room. Now go fight the four Boss forms. Once you've emerge victorious, escape the ship. Run and don't stop or backtrack - you've been warned!
Here are some tips to make fighting the final Boss a bit easier on Aya:
• Stock up on Revives and Medicine 3s and 4s. Also have armor with HP Increase and Auto Potion built in.
• You need to be at least Level 33.
• Make sure your weapon has at least double attack and shotgun blast added on.
• Bring along the AT-4 to fight the final Boss' first and third forms at long range.
• Use up all bonus points on the weapons and armor; these bonuses carry over to EX Mode.
See the "Ultimate Weapon/Armor Modification" for additional tips.
If you plan to play the EX Mode, be sure to rename your best armor and weapon. If you don't, they won't appear when you start a new EX Mode game.
What's EX Mode?
After Aya beats the game the first time, she can play the game again in EX Mode. Before you do, consider these key questions:
I got an EX clear data FILE after beating the game, but it won't load! You're not supposed to load it. At the Startup Screen, the EX Game Mode should appear on top of New Game. Start an EX Game there.
What's so different? The plot and item locations are the same. However, monsters have more HP and cause more damage-but this is offset with the armor and weapon from your last game. Finally, there's the addition of the Chrysler Building-the real ending lies atop it. In EX Mode, you get bonus points after each day.
Can EX Mode last forever? You can beat the game and play a new EX game (Round 3), but the monsters gain even more HP and attack power. Don't waste your time: You can beat the Chrysler Building with only one EX game.
